SASNOVA provides health services to all students so as to ensure their well-being.
Students can benefit from psychiatry, psychology and nutrition appointments. All must be booked in advance (prices are subsidized by SASNOVA).
SASNOVA also promotes campaigns in collaboration with the Student Unions, like giving blood, vaccination and detection campaigns.
SASNOVA has protocols with the following institutions:
- SAMS: allows NOVA students access to the medical services provided at the premises of the Centro Clínico de Lisboa (Rua Fialho de Almeida, nº 21, 1070-121 Lisboa) and the Clínica SAMS de Almada (Rua Bernardim Ribeiro, nº 6-B, 2800 -027 Almada).
- Alfredo da Costa Maternity, for women’s health (gynecology and family planning appointments)
- Centre for Sports Medicine (Centro de Medicina Desportiva), to carry out the initial medical examination and to accompany student that practice sport
