VII Band Contest NOVA Música is open to solo musicians and bands that must have at least one student (or former student) from NOVA University (including students on Erasmus and other exchange programs), rewarding the finalists with an act in the final of the contest and the winner with 700€.
The registration should be completed until 27th January 2022, by submitting the registration form. There should be the URL from Youtube and the file with the competition music, an original theme.
The songs will be analyze by the jury and voted by the public. Three of the bands will perform in the final where the winner will be chosen. The final will occur in a format and date to define, due to the pandemic situation.
From 31st of January the songs in contest will be available (https://www.facebook.com/FESTIVALNOVA) and in this website to the public votes.
The finalists will be revealed in this website and Facebook do NOVA Música on the 15th of January.
VII Band Contest NOVA Música is part of the NOVA Musica and is organized by the SASNOVA Office for Culture, Communication and Image with the purpose to promote Portuguese music close to the students.
